Our submission to a Request for Proposal was selected by the Fran Joswick Therapeutic Riding Program to provide master planning and architectural services for their program. Their center is a multi-faceted therapeutic riding and hippotherapy program with extensive educational opportunities for therapeutic riding professionals.
The scope of the facility includes: Riding and Training Areas consisting of one large covered arena, 1 small covered arena, and 2 outdoor arenas, 2 round pens, 50 stalls, 2 grooming areas, 2 mounting areas, wash racks, storage areas, 3 tack rooms, vet area and farrier area, and other riding support functions; Administrative and Program Services Areas consist of offices, classrooms, therapy rooms, observation areas, meeting rooms, rest rooms, and on-site sleeping quarters; also included are various facility service areas. Phase I, which is the equestrian portion of the project was completed in 2009.
