JENSEN BEACH, FL REDEVELOPMENT

Jensen Beach, a small coastal community in Martin County, FL, commissioned Seth Harry and Associates to produce a new master plan and redevelopment strategy to help guide downtown development, and to assist in an effort to convert a one-way couplet which had had a very detrimental effect on the downtown's character and retail viability, into a two two-way road network, that would allow a large regional traffic volume to skirt the community, while still allowing for easy access to the town's commercial venues.

The successful result is a more vibrant and successful downtown, a much higher quality of life for the community's citizens, and significantly greater private investment in the town, consistent with the vision articulated in the plan.
