Seth Harry and Associates designed the master plan for this infill development along a suburban arterial in Monroe, NJ. The site was designed to accommodate a mix of uses, including retail, which faces the arterial and fronts on a small neighborhood green, and townhouses and apartments, which are set off the arterial in a network of streets and blocks.
New streets are shown extending to the edge of the site, as a catalyst for redevelopment of neighboring sites to continue the new street network, in hopes of alleviating pressure on the arterial and transforming the auto-dominated environment into a mixed-use, pedestrian friendly neighborhood.
