Seth Harry and Associates was retained to produce a preliminary design concept for a proposed latter-stage mixed-use commercial center of a planned residential community, south of Nashville. Occupying the project’s primary highway frontage, the initial layout and design of the Town Center was necessary to locate the project’s primary entrance road, for subsequent site plan approval and implementation.
The concept plan was an early example of incremental densification as a conscious strategy to maximize land utilization and value capture through the process of planned infill redevelopment, in a new greenfield development.
