CONDADO PREDERA Guatemala City, Guatemala

In collaboration with Eduardo Castillo and Grupo Origo, Seth Harry and Associates participated on this TND infill project and suburban mall retrofit on the outskirts of Guatemala City. An existing regional mall and big-box shopping center currently anchors the property, and SHA was asked to produce a plan and phasing strategy for the mall and shopping center that would allow them to redevelop into a walkable, mixed-use urban center, and provide a more attractive amenity for the proposed residential infill to be built directly behind it.

Seth Harry and Associates also contributed to the overall master plan, which reflects the topography on the site by creating distinct neighborhoods, and to the close coordination between the residential components of the project and the redeveloped town center.
