Seth Harry and Associates was a member of a team, with Jaime Correa and led by Grupo Origo, that designed the master plan for Las Tunas. The plan is made up of a number of discreet neighborhoods, each of which is individually secure by creating a wall of attached housing units. Each neighborhood has a range of housing options, parks and open space, and civic buildings.
The public boulevards and town centers are lined with mixed-use buildings, containing residences over shops and commercial space.
Site topography guided the master planning process. The plan closely follows the hilly terrain typical of Guatemala, making a light imprint on the land.
