NARANJO TOWN CENTER Guatemala City, Guatemala

Seth Harry and Associates was part of a collaborative effort, led by Grupo Origo, to design a new infill community adjacent to Guatemala City, on a site that was recently made accessible by the construction of a new bridge linking it to the city center.

Seth Harry and Associates assisted with the design of the community’s mixed-use town center, which included the creation of a merchandising plan representing a full range of retail types and uses, including a major grocery store.  The town green is surrounded by smaller shops, typical of Guatemalan retail, with residential units on the upper floors.

The firm also participated in an architectural charrette to design many of the buildings in the town center.
